Bed Rest

Since we are on bed rest and Jeff has been gone quite a bit; not a lot has been happening around here!  We read lots of books, color, play (in bed!) take super long baths, eat lots of snacks (gotta fatten these little girls up) and watch movies!  I am pretty sure Barrett is fully enjoying all this mommy time and I am loving it too!

Week 27 bump.  I had a dr apportionment yesterday and things are looking good - bed rest is working!!! Dr wants me to stay on bed rest and wants to see me next week.  He stated that he would LOVE to see me make it to week 29 (next Wed). This would be a huge milestone in the growth stage of the girls!   After that each week is a bonus!  My goal is to make it to 36-38 weeks, we will see what the girls think about that!

Country Line Orchard

On Wednesday Aunt Janel and Rachel took all the kids to Country Line Orchard in Hobart, In.  The pictures show you just how much fun Barrett had.  Thanks again for taking him, I can't wait to go next year!!!

While Barrett was having fun, Dad was at work and I was visiting a new Doctor in Fort Wayne.  On Tuesday I visited my regular doctor and he refered me to a high risk doctor due to my cervix length shorting and some mild cramps/contractions.  They put me on bed rest and are going to monitor me super close so we can keep these little Girls "cooking" in my tummy! I am currently 27 weeks and they would like to get me at least past 32 weeks, I am hoping I can make it to 35-38 weeks!!

 All prayers are greatly appreciated!

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday evening Jeff, Barrett, and I went to a local pumpkin patch: Fashion Farms.  Each year they have a theme pumpkin maze which is really kinda neat for $2.  This years theme was animals from around the world.   Barrett had a wonderful time  and loved all the pumpkins and the corn maze. Barrett picked out 5 little pumpkins just like his family he said!  Jeff loved his annual dish of pumpkin ice cream and I loved a night with my boys!
