Concert Weekend

This past weekend Jeff and I took a night off and enjoyed it attending a Eric Church concert. Eric is one of Jeff favorite singers, so when we seen he was coming to Fort Wayne we got tickets a.s.a.p. We had a great time and according to Barrett he had a great time with Grandma Polk too.

My favorite song! It was also a crowd favorite– I bet there were at least 250 pairs of boots waving in the air too!

Break them in early – Lately Barrett loves to help me clean, he loves play with the broom, walking around with a rag wiping things and as you can see in the video trying to push the vacuum.

Mommy & Me

This past weekend Jeff took is annual boys trip to Louisville, KY to attend the National Farm Machinery Show, so Barrett and I had a little mommy & me weekend.

Barrett and I spent the weekend shopping, had some friends over and went to a birthday party!

Hit the road bug . . .

and don’t you come back no more no more . . . hit the road bug! This week Barrett and I were hit by the flu bug hard – it started in on Tuesday and today we are just starting to feel  like ourselves again. I hope this little bug stays clear of your house cause it was a nasty one!

Despite not feeling well, Barrett continues to smile and get into everything!

Birthday Weekend

This past weekend (I am a bit behind) we celebrated Kale 1st & Dane 3rd birthdays.  The party was at a play center and all the kids had a great time. Barrett loved the play center, it had some many new toys! After the party we spent the rest of the weekend with the Hatten’s and than headed to Moline to look at a collection of tractors. We had to make sure we spent the day with Jeff on his birthday! We had a nice little road trip and Barrett did so well, he slept a good part of the trip, must have played way to hard with his cousins.

Looks like life around our house just got super busy!

Basketball

Last night we went to the Warsaw Varsity basketball game. It was a great game even though the Tigers didn’t win. Barrett was in aww of the everything going on around him and we all  had  a great time.

Barrett’s favorite parts were clapping when the crowd cheered and dancing to the music of the band!
