NE hunting
Last week we were able to enjoy some time at my parents ranch in Crawford, NE. The boys enjoyed their time hunting and us girls had a great time playing with the kids, cooking and listening to the hunters’ ‘stories’. Jeff was able to shoot a nice whitetail buck and huge bull elk. Shooting an elk has always been on his list of things to shoot and my father’s neighbor had one on his property that he wanted gone, so Jeff took advantage of the opportunity.

Benefit Auction
This past weekend we attended a benefit auction for Grandpa & Grandpa Polk’s church. Jeff and his dad always do the auctioneering, so tag along and eat all the good pot-luck food and snag a few baked goods at the auction!

Weekend at home
This weekend we enjoyed the entire weekend at home – Jeff went hunting, he shot a big buck with his bow but wasn’t able to find him. The joys of bow hunting, according to him and his friend they had good blood trail but than it ran dry, so we had a sad dad on our hands! Barrett and I enjoyed babysitting our cousins, Andon & Presley and spending some much needed time with Grandma Polk .
