Today Aunt Kay brought her baby pigs to daycare. Can you tell how excited Barrett was to see them again and have all his friends see them too!
Here are some photos of Barrett and his friends making pudding for snack time at daycare.
This past weekend we hosted a surprise 60th birthday party for Grandma Polk. It was a great party and the kids all had a wonderful time swimming!
We celebrated Presley’s 5th birthday on Wednesday evening with a pool party too!
Barrett also got to go boating with Papaw, Nana and all his cousins on Saturday while mom and dad worked!
This video was taken a few weeks back when we stayed in a hotel. I remember as a kid being able to jump on the hotel bed as much as we wanted. It is so cute now to see Barrett doing the same thing, it is usually one of the 1st things he does when we get to a hotel!
Yesterday at daycare they had Chick Day. A friend of the church brought in baby chickens. Farmer Barrett had no hesitation grabbing the chick out of the box and playing with it. His teacher told me that he took the chick out of the box and put its face in the ground and told it to eat!
If you live in our area and are looking for a great daycare I highly recommend Union Center Daycare & Preschool. The attention, teaching skills and LOVE they give Barrett is AMAZING.
Last night we decided to head over to Uncle Larry and Aunt Kay’s farm (across the field from us) to visit the new little piggy’s they had early this week. However when we arrived we found out that another sow was giving birth! So we not only got to play with baby piggy’s we got to watch the birth of 3 pigs too! Barrett loved the entire experience and talked about it all the way home, before bed, and in the morning all the way to daycare the next day! He even made sure we called Papa Van Beek to tell him all about it!
Thanks Aunt Kay and Uncle Larry
