Update

Both girls are doing wonderful!   They both had feeding tubes put in on Monday  to help them eat.  They were getting to tired to finish their minimum feeding via the bottle.  Since then they have ate from a bottle at most of their feedings and than what they can't finish they put down their feeding tube.  

Brinley is currently weighing 3lbs and 8.1oz. She is about 9 grams away from the process when they slowly start to dress her and take down the temperature of her incubator. Once she can maintain her temperature she will be moved to a cradle. Her feeding minimum is 33ml but she has been taking close to 40 ml so she is trying really hard to gain weight!

       

Berlin is currently weighing 4lbs and .05oz. She started the clothing process yesterday and has been wearing a onesie and spin a great job with her temp.  She will be bumped up to a sleeper this afternoon if she continues to maintain her temperature. She is currently taking 40 ml and tends to eat just the 40 and sometimes a bit more. 

On Monday night I was able to hold both girls together for the 1st time.  It was a amazing feeling and I cried about the whole time!

       

Yesterday we had to say good bye to Grandpa and Grandma Van Beek.  It was a sad day and we are so thankful they made the trip out to help with Barrett and were able to meet and cuddle with the girls!

Barrett is still doing wonderful with all this shuffling around.  He still can't quite grasp what is going on because he hasn't been able to see them and won't till the come home.
