The past several weeks we have been doing some traveling again – something we hadn’t done for a good while.
1st stop Waukegan, Illinois
A couple of weekends ago Jeff had to attend an auction in Washington, so instead of staying home Barrett and I headed to Chicago to spend some time with the Hatten’s. We had a great time at the pumpkin patch, out for lunch/dinner to the Cheesecake Factory (my favorite) and play time at home with the boys.
2nd stop Beresford, South Dakota
Next on our traveling schedule we stopped in South Dakota to visit my family while Jeff attended two auctions in northern South Dakota and in North Dakota. Barrett and I had a great time: wedding dress shopping for my sister, Ashley, baking for our schools annual Harvest Sale, celebrating Grandpa Van Beek’s birthday, farming with my dad and pizza and wings at the Landegants’.
3rd stop Denver, Colorado
While in Denver we were able to spend time with our friends Ashley and Tyson. We had fun with their new addition Fox, were able to go out to dinner at some great restaurant and toured Coors manufacturing plant.
This trip was pretty easy traveling since we bought a new home on wheels! (thanks Jeff!!!) Barrett loves being able to play while daddy is driving!
